We were instructed to carry out a full pitched roof replacement. Re-pointing and capping off of the chimney stacks, new lead flashings and a change in roofing material - the existing was a mis match of concrete tiles and blue slate. The existing roof was decaying and leaking in various areas.
We utilised a natural Brazilian slate for the pitched roofs which is a very cost effective way to introduce a natural slate instead of a concrete product, ultimately giving a more durable product with a longer life span. Ridge, hip and verge details were installed with a maintenance free mechanically fixed systems meaning no future maintenance for the client other than an annual gutter clearance.
