On this project we were faced with a critical timeframe. The works had to be completed within the six weeks holidays as not to disturb the functioning of the school. With the scaffolding absorbing around two weeks of the six we were left with just over four weeks to complete the work.
With over 5000m2 of roof to treat in such a short time we dedicated a large amount of our labour resources and selected a product that was compatible with our spray machine - which enabled us to cover large amounts of area each day. The roof was thoroughly cleaned with high pressure washers and then treated with a solar reflective roof treatment which has encapsulated aluminium fibres to add reinforcement & flexibility to the new covering. Not only does this product waterproof the roof but it offers around a 30% saving on energy bills for the school due to its solar reflective finish. We finished the project with days to spare to the delight of the school. It really does look fantastic.
